Welcome to the Victorian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.

You can submit an application for most Registry-issued certificates online or by completing an application form and mailing it to GPO Box 4332, Melbourne VIC 3001.

The Registry's Customer Service Centre is located on the Ground floor of 595 Collins Street, Melbourne (near Southern Cross train station). Find more contact details including international contact details and hours of operation.

Registry fee changes

From 1 July 2009 some Registry fees have increased.

Please note there is no increase to fees relating to the relationships register, historical index searches, the purchasing of uncertified images, historical CD or DVD ROM products.
